lover . poet. author.

wearing her heart-on-her-sleeve, a true lover girl kind of mentality, Jessa Leigh has opened her soul to the modern day poetry world. she is the author of one published book, Stages (2022), and has more on the way. while she mainly reads self-help and rom-com books, she writes poetry and prose.

speaking from a place of vulnerability about her experiences with love, healing from heartbreak and trauma, and her mental health journey as she learns what it means to be diagnosed as bipolar (manic-depressive). in the last few years her poetry has expanded to include grief topics as she said adieu to her first dog Bear with whom she had 11 beautiful years with.

she hopes that in sharing her artistic truth that others may lovingly embrace wherever they are in this chaotic human experience, and feel inspired to be authentic to their own deep hearts.

you can always catch Jessa Leigh with a beverage or a snack close by. often fueled by kombucha, oat milk lattes, croissants, and cheese. she adores her 16 year old Haitian tree boa - Drako, and her new pitbull pup - Churro Amor.

in her every days, she remains a lover of moodiness, butterflies, color shifting skies, and the oxford comma.
